I want to put pink/blue/purple/or teal highlights and maybe extensions in my hair.?

I really would like to do this over winter break after i get some money together so i can professionally get it done. Only i cannot find hardly any pictures of people with cute highlights or just a few streaks of color in their hair. I was thinking of maybe doing a few highlights underneath my hair so it is a little hidden and not too bold looking. If anyone has any ideas or pictures they have found that would look good for a 17 year-old girl please answer. thanks for everything !

theres a clothing website that i really like and the lady uses this one girl as a model (there are a few others but shes the main one) and she has her hair several different ways in the pictures. i love it. i want to do my hair like one of them.

i hate my hair right now, ive got blond lowlights and caramel lowlights, PLUS i dyed my hair black purple but it turned out really nice the first few days but then it turned red..

hi, take a look in our gallery - granted most people have dyed all their hair but some people have only dyes sections or streaks so it might give you an ideaof what the end result may look like. The other link gives hints and tips etc on dyeing your hair unnatural colours.
