2 types of proper extensions r glue/bond and sewn/weave
glue/bond 1s tend to cause more damage cos the heat used to melt the bonds, and if its glue, it can ruin ur hair, pull clumps out, thts why victoria beckham had hers removed cos they were ruining her hair. they are also more expensive, and u have to b careful on what shampoo u use as certain products make the glue or bonds weaker.
weave in 1s arent as bad, they can cause damage if hair is pulled too tighly during the braiding. but...they are cheaper, as ur hairs braided it means ur hair can grow, can still use whatever shampoo u want.
