Layers!!!! That all depends on how thick your hair is...the texture...and your face shape. Layers always add a lil volume and give the appearance that your hair is thicker than it actually is. The first thing I thought of when you mentioned the extensions was Christina Aguilera's style before she went short and platinum blonde. Something like the Come On Over vid, but not to that extreme. try the link!
